Quietly sit on the rocks under the tree,

Close your eyes and feel the cool breeze,

As it gently blow into your skin and carry the locks of your hair.

Listen to the sound of the leaves,

As they cheerfully dance to the soft rhythm of the wind.

Breathe in…

Breathe out…

Just sit there in contentment.

“That is happiness.”

How?…

How to forgive?
How to forget?
How to live without regrets?
How to be at peace?
How to be genuinely happy?

 

Ako’y isang saranggola,
Akala mo’y malaya.
Subalit pisi ay nasa kanya,
Kontrolado nya pala.

Nais kong magpa-Kanluran,
Ngunit nais niya ay sa Silangan.
Hila niya ako patungo sa nais niyang puntahan,
Nakasunod naman ako ‘pagkat ako’y isang saranggola lamang.

I dream a dream,
A simple yet a happy life;
A peaceful mind and a forgiving heart.

I dream a dream,
A not so perfect but a loving, understanding, and a complete family that is always together.

I dream a dream,
Not a palace, nor a mansion, not even a big and an elegant house but a plain and a comfortable one that can be called “home”;
A stable job and a progressing career path.

I dream a dream,
A strong bond of friendship build with honesty and sincerity;
A lifetime partner and a God-centered relationship;
A bright future with my love ones.

A goal that will be fulfilled;
A mission that must be completed;
A dream that will be come true.

Someday, somehow.. I know,
It is not an impossible dream.

It’s already midnight, the room is full of silence
But her mind is very loud
Keep thinking “this” and “that”
Don’t know how to cut,
Don’t know how to stop.

“What will be tomorrow?”
“Will I be okay?”
Questions keep flashing inside her head
Answers were found nowhere.

Sa patuloy na paglalim ng gabi,
Itong munting utak, di mapakali;
Tila ‘sang balong kayhaba ng lubid,
Subalit pangsalok di makaigib.

Sa dami ng tanong na nasa isip,
Gayon rin ang mga “sanang” kalakip;
Sa sanlibo’t-isang pa’no at bakit,
Sanlibo’t-isang tugon di makamit.

Dumadaloy– parang agos ng tubig,
Takpan man ng mga palad at bisig;
Lalong rumaragasa, sumisirit,
Walang tigil hanggang mata’y pumikit.
